The Linn County Fair 4-H Share the Fun competition was held on Sunday, July 2 at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Central City. Winners will represent Linn County at the Iowa State Fair in August.
Those winning the event are as follows:
Junior Entries:
- Gracyn Kane, Coggon – Creative dance
- Lucie Scott, Cedar Rapids – Ukulele and song solo
Senior Entry:
- Amanda Dragon, Mt. Vernon – Storytelling – Little Red Riding Hood with a Twist
4-H, the youth component of the Iowa State University Extension, offers opportunities to choose from among fifty different project areas. The 4-H program is open to all urban and rural youth kindergarten through 12th grade.
