2017 Cooking with Berries Competition Results

Results from the 2017 Cooking with Berries Competition:

A) Bring it in a jar: includes jams, jellies, and sauces


1st place Raspberry Jam

  • 1st place – Trisha Voelker – Ryan – Raspberry Jam
  • 2nd place – Ann Schuster – Peosta – Tri-berry jam

B) Bring it in a pan: includes pies, crisps, bars, etc.


1st place Raspberry Streusel Bars

  • 1st place – Tricia Voelker – Ryan – Raspberry Streusel Bars
  • 2nd place – Ann Schuster – Peosta – Lemon Blueberry Bread

C) Beverage (excluding wine, that should be entered into the open home brew
competition)- none
D) Other: anything that doesn’t fall in the other three categories

  • 1st place – Barb Snobl – Central City – Berry Almond Yogurt Cookies
