2016 Little Mr. and Miss Linn County Fair Crowned

 

The Linn County Fair Association is proud to announce the 2016 Little Mr. and Miss Linn County Fair winners, Trenton Abel and Madison DeMean.

The 2015 Little Miss Linn County Fair, Lilyann Wittenburg, and Mr. Little Linn County Fair, Tucker Klima, handed off their titles at The 2016 Linn County Fair Opening Program on June 22nd at the fairgrounds in Central City.

The 2016 Little Mr & Miss Linn County Fair will help out throughout the fair by handing out ribbons and representing the Linn County Fair at different events at the fair. They will continue to represent the Linn County Fair at different events and parades throughout the year until they hand over their crowns at the 2017 Linn County Fair’s Opening Program on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.

Little Miss Candidates were:

Makaila Arnold is the daughter of Lori Osterkamp and Doug Arnold. Her favorite thing about The Linn County fair is watching the wresting because it’s exciting. When she grows up she wants to be a teacher just like her mommy.

Brynn Bowman is the daughter of Jarod and Leann Bowman. Brynn’s favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is helping in the petting zoo because she gets to feed and pet the animals. When she grows up, she wants to be a vet because she likes helping animals. Brynn is a good friend because she is nice to everyone.

Lilly Bowman is the daughter of Jarod and Leann Bowman. Her favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is helping in the petting zoo, setting up the sandbox and feeding the animals. Lilly is a good friend because she listens, helps others and gets a long with everybody. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

Madison DeMean is the daughter of Dawn and Mike Demean. She loves everything at The Linn County Fair because there are so many interesting things to do and see. She especially likes spending time with her friends and family. When Madison grows up she wants to own a horse back riding place!

Morgan Demean is the daughter of Dawn and Mike Demean. Her favorite things about The Linn County Fair are the crafts, show animals and the petting zoo. Morgan is a good friend because she is nice and caring to other people.

Little Mr. Candidates were:

Trenton Abel is the son of Yon Abel and Kendra Abel. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is camping because he never has to leave the fair. When Trenton grows up he wants to be an airplane pilot. He is a good friend because he honest and a good helper.

Nicholas Hansen is the son of Donald Hansen. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is the kiddie calf show because he likes working with his calf and learning about it. When Nicholas grows up he wants to be a U.S. Marine so he can help other people.

Preston Martin is the son of Albert and Vicki Martin. Preston’s favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is the kiddie calf show because it’s fun teaching my calf to lead and thinking of a costume to dress my calf up in for showing. When he grows up he wants to farm with his dad.

Ethan Parish-Steffen is the son of Chad (Heidi) Steffen and Tiffany (Richard) Parish-Gutierrez. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is all of the animals, especially the cows. When Ethan grows up, he wants to be Batman and he is a good friend because he loves to play with everyone.

AJ Robertson is the son of Lisa Robertson. His favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is everything because it is fun. When he grows up he wants to be a vet. A.J. is a good friend because he always wants to help.

Andrew Unash is the son of Jay and Jennifer Unash. Andrew’s favorite things about The Linn County Fair are getting to do cool projects, watching his brother show meat goats and meeting nice people. When he grows up he wants to be a farmer, football player and a city worker.
