Results of Linn County Fair 4-H Horse & Pony Show and Game Show

The Linn County 4-H Horse and Pony Show and the Game Show was held on Tuesday, June 21 at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Central City.

Those winning are as follows:

  • Grand Champion Halter Pony –   Caitlyn Benesh from Alburnett with her pony Mini Winnie.
  • Reserve Champion Halter Pony –  Cutter Shefelbine from Central City with her pony Romeo.
  • Grand Champion Halter Horse –  Sierra Dougherty from Coggon with her horse, Bailey.
  • Reserve Champion Halter Horse –  Cutter Shefelbine from Central City with her horse,Intoxicating Impression.

High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-Her showing a horse 9th grade and above:

  • Jacque Murray from Ely with her horse Nick of Time.

Reserve High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-Her showing a horse 9th grade and above:

  • Mollie Coffin from Marion with her horse Sensational Thunder.

High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-Her showing a horse 8th grade and below:

  •  Emily Armstrong from Center Point with her Horse Investing in Hocus

Reserve High Point Pleasure Award for a  4-Her showing a horse 8th grade and below:

  • Caitlyn Benesh from Alburnett with her horse All But Scared.

  • Delany Sturtz from Alburnett with her pony Rodeo Joe

The Lynn Dunn Memorial Walk/Trot Award went to Mollie Coffin from Marion riding her horse, Sensational Thunder.
