2015 Little Mr. and Miss Linn County Fair Announced

The Linn County Fair Association is proud to announce the 2015 Little Mr. and Miss Linn County Fair winners, Tucker Klima and Lilyann Wittenburg.

The 2014 Little Miss Linn County Fair, Addison Sloan, and Mr. Little Linn County Fair, Carl Rajthe, handed off their titles at The 2015 Linn County Fair Opening Program on June 24th at the fairgrounds in Central City.

The 2015 Little Mr & Miss Linn County Fair helped throughout the fair by handing out ribbons and representing the Linn County Fair at different events at the fair. They will continue to represent the Linn County Fair at different events and parades throughout the year until they hand over their crowns at the 2016 Linn County Fair’s Opening Program on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.

Little Miss Candidates were:

Sara Appleget is a 2nd grader who dreams of being an author when she grows up. Sara is a good friend because she is caring, respectful and has a positive attitude. She loves the bunnies and all the animals at the fair because they are so cute.

Kaycee Cory is a kindergartener who dreams of one day being a clothes designer. She is a good friend because she helps other people and kind to everyone. Kaycee’s favorite things to do at The Linn County Fair include participating in kids’ day, the ”Kiddin’ Around” class at the Goat Show and getting dirty.

Madison DeMean is a 2nd grader who wants to become a librarian in the future. Madison’s favorite things about The Linn County Fair include the animals, rides and crafts. She is a good friend because she is kind and very nice to all her friends.

Allie Haughenbury is a 2nd grader and would like to become an art teacher in the future. Allie’s favorite things about The Linn County Fair are the rides and the Bucket Bottle Show. She is a good friend because she is nice to everyone and cheers people up by giving them nice notes.

Tessaly Robertson is a kindergartener who plans to “marry someone rich and ride a horse all day” in her future. She is a good friend because she is nice and friendly. Tessaly’s favorite thing about the fair is the Cock-A-Doodle Zoo and its animals and sandbox.

Devany Souza is a 2nd grader who would like to be a teacher when she grows up. Devany is a good friend because she is funny and kind. Her favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is the farm animals because she does not get to see them much.

Lilyann Wittenburg is a kindergartener who dreams of becoming an artist when she grows up. Lilyann is a good friend because she says nice things to her friends and takes turns when playing. Her favorite things at The Linn County Fair include the carriage races, food livestock shows and the rides.

Little Mr. Candidates were:

Henry Abel is a kindergartener who would like to be a policeman in the future. Henry believes he is a good friend because he always plays nicely and helps other people. He enjoys going up high on all the rides, the animals and all the big tractors at The Linn County Fair.

Trenton Abel is a 2nd grader who would like to be a builder when he grows up. Trenton is a good friend because he helps other people. His favorite part of The Linn County Fair is the rides he gets to enjoy with his brothers.

Nate Appleget is a 3rd grader who wants to be an architect when he grows up. He is a good friend because he is always kind and caring and he likes to share. He really enjoys the cows, rabbits and other animals at the fair, although he thinks the chickens are too loud.

Nicholas Hansen is a 1st grader who would like to become a Marine because he wants to serve his country. Nicholas is nice to his friends and helps others when they need it. He enjoys seeing all the animals at the fair and going on the rides with his friends.

Tucker Klima is a 2nd grader who wants to be a football player when he grows up. He is a good friend because he is kind and caring. Tucker’s favorite things about The Linn County Fair are the pig races and the tractor pull.

Ethan Parish-Steffen is a 1st grader who would like to be Batman when he grows up. Ethan’s favorite things about The Linn County Fair are the cows and tractors. Ethan is a good friend because he is caring, listens and is kind to everyone he meets.

AJ Robertson is a first grader who would like to be a rock star when he grows up. He is a good friend to others because he is kind and listens. AJ’s favorite thing about The Linn County Fair is the sheep because he thinks they are cute.

Joel Robertson is a 3rd grader who dreams of becoming a game graphics designer when he grows up. Joel is a good friend because when he sees someone who doesn’t have a friend he will ask them to play. His favorite parts of the fair are helping at Cock-A-Doodle Zoo, showing goats at the Kiddin’ Around Goat Show and making yard art and edible bugs.

Andrew Unash is a 2nd grader who would like to become a farmer when he grows up. Andrew is a good friend because he is fun to play with, plays with everyone, shares and is also a good listener. Andrew loves to help his brother show goats and being with the goats at The Linn County Fair.
