Where Great Memories Are Made -Linn County Fair 2015 Queen Candidates

The Linn County Fair Association is proud to announce the 2015 Linn County Fair Queen candidates:

Sierra Dougherty is the daughter of Mike and Tammy Dougherty of Coggon.  Sierra will be a junior at North Linn High School this fall.  Sierra’s future plans are to go to UNI or Iowa State and major in Nutrition.

Haley Griebel is the daughter of Bruce & Donna Griebel of Ely.  Haley will be a senior at Mount Vernon High School this fall.  Haley’s future plans are to become a physical therapist.

Sara-Anne Kettelkamp is the daughter of Robert and Cindy Kettelkamp of Marion.  Sara-Anne will be a Senior at Linn-Mar High School this fall.  Sara-Anne’s future plan is to attend Iowa State University and study Agricultural Business or Animal science.  Sara-Anne hopes to pursue a career in Agriculture or become a large animal veterinarian.

Alaina Marti is the daughter or Mollie and Monte Marti of Cedar Rapids.  Alaina will be a senior at Xavier High School this fall.  Alaina’s future plan is to attend college.

Kylie Mysak is the daughter of Kent and Tammy Mysak of Springville.  Kylie will be a Junior this fall at Springville High School.  Kylie’s future plans are to study Veterinary Science or Agricultural Business.

The reigning 2014 Linn County Fair Queen, Molly Hogan and Princess, Kelly Breja will be handing off their titles at The 2015 Linn County Fair during the opening night of the fair, June 24th.

The 2014 Linn County Fair Queen is Molly Hogan is the daughter of Dennis and Tina Hogan of Coggon.  Molly will be a Senior this fall at North Linn this fall.  Molly’s future plans are to attend a 4 year college and major in business.

The 2014 Linn County Fair Princess is Kelly Breja is the daughter of Craig and Patty Breja of Cedar Rapids.  Kelly will be a Senior at Kennedy High School this fall.  Kelly’s future plans are to attend UNI and major in Criminology and be a part of color guard.

The judging for the contest will be on June 13th at The Linn County Fairgrounds in the Lynn Dunn Memorial Building.  Public is welcome to join us around 2:30 for light refreshments and snacks to meet the candidates.

The coronation will be Wednesday June 24th at 6 p.m. at The Linn County Fair, in the grandstand.
