4-Her’s competed in the Horse/Pony Game Show on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Linn County Fair in Central City.
High Point Horse Champion 8th grade and under: Courtney Jones, Center Point, riding Etna
High Point Horse Reserve Champion 8th grade and under: Sadie Flatland, Springville, riding Destiny
High Point Champion Horse 9th grade and above: Brandy Zumbach, Coggon, riding Peppy
High Point Reserve Champion Horse 9th grade and above: JeNeal Horning, Marion, riding Kitty
High Point Pony Champion 9th grade and above: Meghan Peacock, Coggon, riding Butch
High Point Pony Reserve Champion 9th grade and above : Natalie Ertz, Central City, riding Chante
High Point Pony Champion 8th grade and under: Josh Kettelkamp, Marion, riding Elmo
High Point Pony Reserve Champion 8th and under: Courtney Jones, Center Point, riding Rainy
4-H’ers competed in the Horse/Pony show on Monday, July 19, at the Linn County Fair Grounds. Due to the weather conditions the show was postponed for a week. Those winning are as follows:
Grand Champion Halter Pony Award: Jacque Murray, Ely, showing Skip A Pulse. She belongs to the Barnyard Buddies 4-H club in the Mt. Vernon/Lisbon/Ely area.
Reserve Halter Champion Pony Award: Josh Kettelkamp, Marion showing Elmo. He belongs to the Prairie Union Wildcats 4-H Club.
Grand Champion Halter Horse Award: Meghan Wilkinson, Fairfax, showing Get Down Tonight. Meghan belongs to the Washington Busy Beavers 4-H Club.
Reserve Champion Halter Horse Award: Sara-Anne Kettelkamp, Marion, showing Faith. Sara-Ann belongs to the Prairie Union Wildcats 4-H club.
High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-H’er showing a pony 8th grade and below went to Jacque Murray, Ely riding Samson.
Reserve High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-H’er showing a pony 8th grade and below went to Josh Kettelkamp, Marion riding Elmo.
Reserve High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-H’er showing a pony 9th grade and above went to Meghan Peacock, Coggon riding Prizer. She belongs to the Coggon Clippers 4-H Club.
High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-H’er showing a horse 8th grade and below went to Jacque Murray, Ely riding Robo.
Reserve High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-H’er showing a horse went to Meghan Wilkinson, Fairfax, riding Ima Tru Maverik.
High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-H’er showing a horse 9th grade and above went to Brandy Zumbach, Coggon, riding Bud. Brandy belongs to the Coggon Clippers 4-H Club.
Reserve High Point Pleasure Award for a 4-H’er showing a horse 9th grade and above went to JeNeal Horning, Marion, riding Jake. JeNeal belongs to the Prairie Union Wildcats 4-H Club.
The Lynn Dunn Memorial Walk/Trot Award went to Brandy Zumbach riding Bud.
